In late April of this year my wife Katherine died after a long illness. We in her family loved her so much and we are missing her terribly. She was an extraordinary and very lovely person .

Katherine Hawley was a Professor of Philosophy at the University of St Andrews until her death in April 2021. In the last few years of her life, Katherine’s research focused on questions around: disinformation, political polarisation, and the role of experts.
