Eve Smith is the identical twin sister of Simon Smith, the protagonist of Her Story. She is portrayed by Viva Seifert. She is also the mother of Sarah Smith, who was later to be revealed as the player character of the game.
There is a tape shown of Hannah introducing herself. She talks about her husband, Simon Smith, who has gone missing and then murdered. She admitted arguing with him often, but she has evidence of her being in Glasgow when the disappearance of Simon occurred.
With more evidence and interview clips being used, it turns out that in this case, an identical twin of Hannah was involved, and her name is Eve. In fact, Hannah and Eve were two identical twins who were separated at birth by Florence, the midwife, after noticing their real mother die.
Florence's husband died in a war and she wanted to have kids without remarrying, so what she did is fake the death of one of the twins and have the other twin with her. She kept Eve with her indoors and abandoned Hannah. Because of this, the two sisters never got to know about each other for years.
After Florence died, Eve secretly moved in with Hannah, and the two decided to act as one person, and the two made themselves a set of rules defining their actions as "Hannah", or in other words, Hannah and Eve portraying Hannah. Because of this, Hannah's parents thought that Eve was not real.
Some time later, Hannah met Simon at a glazier where they were working and she started dating him. The two then fell in love and then she became pregnant. Ever since the pregnancy, Eve was being disallowed from talking to Simon. Hannah and Simon also then married because of the pregnancy, then they moved out. Moreover, Eve also decided to move out to an apartment and put a wig on her. Hannah miscarried her baby at the eight month, and ever since then, she thought she is infertile.
At some point, Simon saw Eve in a bar, and the two began an affair, and as a consequence, Eve eventually became pregnant, but she didn't tell Simon nor Hannah about it.

Jun 24, 2015 · Eve goes to Simons/Hannahs place later to find the dead body with her sister bloody. They make a plan to get Hannah off by providing evidence that Hannah wasn't home (being Eve). Somehow later Eve still confesses to everything and tells this story to the cops.
Eve: Eve is Hannah's twin sister and another suspect in Simon's murder, she also had an affair with Simon. Florence: Florence is the midwife that delivered Eve and Hannah and even stole Eve from their mother to raise her as her own daughter.
