Technically Todd brought Dirk to Wendimoor. Todd has actually mentioned it twice that what if he is the boy and when he first said it in episode 6 I too considered this possibility, since Todd has pararibulitis now he might have similar powers as Amanda (or that he would be the great weapon who destroys the mage).
