Daniel "Dani" Pacheco Lobato (born 5 January 1991) is a Spanish forward who played for Liverpool from 2009 to 2013.

Regarded as one of the hottest prospects in Spanish football at the time, Pacheco was signed from Barcelona in the summer of 2007 for a fee of £5,000,000. After his initial spell in the Liverpool academy and reserve teams, Pacheco broke through into the first team in the 2009-10 season, making his debut on 9 December 2009 against Fiorentina in the Champions League. His league debut arrived shortly after against Wolves on 26 December 2009. After being used primarily in the Europa League for the 2010-11 season, Pacheco signed a new contract, which will keep him at Liverpool until 30 June 2014. On March 23rd 2011, Pacheco joined Norwich City on loan, who were chasing promotion to the Premier League. Pacheco impressed, scoring two goals in his spell there, helping Norwich seal their promotion. Pacheco returned to Liverpool at the end of the season.

On 24 August 2011, Liverpool announced Pacheco had joined Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid on a season-long loan. He returned to Liverpool in the summer of 2012, and took part in the Reds' pre season tour of the USA.

He made his first Liverpool appearance in two seasons when he played against Swiss side Young Boys in a 5-3 victory on 20 September 2012. He was substituted off in the 61st minute for Fabio Borini. Pacheco however failed to win back a place in the Liverpool first team. Instead, he mostly participated for the Under 21s during their 2012-13 season, producing a number of impressive performances and netting several goals. On 31 January 2013, Pacheco was loaned out to Spanish outfit SD Huesca for the rest of the 2012-13 season.

On 2 September 2013, Pacheco confirmed on his official twitter account that he was signing for AD Alcorcon in Spain. Liverpool confirmed this just minutes later, with the deal reportedly being concluded as a free transfer.

•Aged 17, Pacheco appeared on the Liverpool F.C. official site in the June 2008 edition of an article series called "One to Watch," which outlined five very gifted young players from Liverpool's academy.
