Brent Hayden is a former international swimmer from Canada. Hayden was a bronze medal winner in the 100m freestyle at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. He was co-World Champion in the same event in 2007 with Filippo Magnini of Italy.

Sep 18, 2011 · He won bronze in the 100m freestyle at London 2012 to win Canada’s first ever Olympic medal in that event. He was the first Canadian to even reach the Olympic final of the men’s 100m freestyle since Dick Pound at Rome 1960. He then announced his retirement.
