Temple Emanu-El of New York is a synagogue at 1 East 65th Street on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, at the northeast corner with Fifth Avenue, in New York City, New York, United States. It was built in 1928–1930 for the Reform Jewish Congregation Emanu-El of New York.
Today Temple Emanu-El is led by Rabbi Joshua M. Davidson, a graduate of Princeton University who was ordained by the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. Rabbi Davidson’s work has included anti-death penalty advocacy, gay-lesbian inclusion, human rights and interfaith dialogue.

Temple Emanu-El at One East 65th Street and Fifth Avenue is one of the largest synagogues in the world. It is a massive limestone building completed in 1929 for Emanu-El, the City’s oldest Reform Jewish congregation (1845) that merged with the Beth-El congregation in 1927.
