- Alumnae — known as Old Roedeanians (OR) — keep their school community alive through the Old Roedeanians’ Association (ORA). Any alumna who has attended Roedean School for at least two years can join the ORA, as can former staff that alumnae nominate. ORs volunteer to run the Association and plan events for alumnae across the years to enjoy.

- The Roedeanian Society
The Roedeanian Society is the umbrella society for all members of the Roedean Community, with the aim to strengthen our fantastic network of former students, their families and former staff by bringing together all members of the Roedean network.
Since 1900, the Old Roedeanians' Association has been the accredited, autonomous forum which seeks to bring together Old Roedeanians from across the globe. We are a unique group of independently-minded women who endeavour to support one another, but also strive to use our collective voice to support and shape the future of Roedean School.
Each year, Roedean remembers the Lawrence Sisters and all ORs and former staff we have lost throughout the previous year at our Founders’ Day and Commemoration Service in the School Chapel. The last service was held on Thursday 2nd February 2023.
The Old Roedeanians’ Association would like to mark this significant anniversary, by supporting and celebrating the heritage of the school, enabling iconic artefacts to be enjoyed by future generations of girls and ORs and sharing their fascinating history.

Former pupils of Roedean School in Brighton, England are known in some circles as "Old Roedeanians", a term which is also used for alumni of Roedean School (South Africa). The abbreviation OR is sometimes used.
