Feb 14, 2024 · I think Matthew was probably written in the early fifties, Luke written in the late fifties or early sixties, and Mark written in the mid-sixties. But John is probably writing somewhere around 80 or 85. So a generation has passed. John is the last living eyewitness, and this is huge. The Synoptics are in circulation.
