Nov 9, 2020 · Currently, we’re waiting for the respective South Korean networks to confirm which k-dramas will be available to stream weekly on Netflix. Thanks to the lucrative output deal between Netflix and the South Korean broadcasters, we’re expecting to see plenty of dramas arrive in 2021.

- Squid Game (Season 1) N. In our preview for Squid Game, we predicted that it would be the biggest K-Drama to land on Netflix since the release of the zombie-horror series Kingdom.
- Hospital Playlist (Season 2) N. Hospital Playlist was already an extremely popular K-Drama on Netflix thanks to how successful the first season was when it arrived in 2020.
- Kingdom: Ashin of the North (Special Episode) N. Prior to Kingdom’s release on Netflix subscribers only had the option to watch licensed K-Dramas, or exclusive internationally licensed K-Dramas with the Original tag.
- Vincenzo (Season 1) N. Another powerhouse in the ratings, Song Joong Ki in his role as the suave and intelligent Vincenzo Cassano had millions of K-Dramas fans swooning and hot under the collar.

- Squid Game. 2021 Top 10 TV Position: #1. Total Hours Viewed Global Top 10s: 2.157 billion hours and still rising. In a surprise to nobody, Squid Game was undoubtedly the biggest show on Netflix this year to come out of South Korea.
- Vincenzo. 2021 Top 10 TV Position: #15. Total Hours Viewed Global Top 10s: Data not available. Week to week Vincenzo only went from strength to strength amassing an audience of millions worldwide.
- Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha. 2021 Top TV Position: #31. Total Hours Viewed Global Top 10s: 271,820,000 Million Hours and Counting. While Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha didn’t reach the same heights as Vincenzo, it only missed out by several inches.
- My Name. 2021 Top TV Position: #46. Total Hours Viewed Global Top 10s: 194,140,000 Million Hours and Counting. Advertising. Netflix released hit after hit between September and November of 2021, the second of which was My Name.
- The Silent Sea. This sci-fi mystery thriller stars South Korean actress Bae Doona as an astrobiologist trying to uncover the truth behind an accident that took place at an abandoned research facility on the moon.
- Round Six. Another original Netflix series, Round Six (also known as Squid Game in the English translation of its Korean title) follows a group of people who get involved in a mysterious survival game with a $40-million prize at stake.
- D.P. Based on the webtoon D.P: Dog Days by Kim Bo-tong, D.P. follows a South Korean army private who encounters "confused young adults" during his assignment at a unit responsible for arresting deserters, Netflix said in a statement last July.
- All of Us Are Dead. Another webtoon-based new series, All of Us Are Dead follows a group of high-school students who face various "dire situations" as they attempt to be rescued from a zombie invasion of their school.
