Oct 8, 2021 · The original Hackley Hospital was demolished and replaced with a more modern facility in 1982. It became Mercy Health’s Hackley Campus after a 2008 merger with Mercy Health.

Hackley Hospital was a vital institution in the Muskegon community and it thrived as a medical center. The hospital was, and at present remains, the largest employer in Muskegon County and had a noticeable impact on the development of the community.

Apr 2, 2008 · The hospital lumber baron Charles Hackley founded 105 years ago is now a campus of Mercy Health Partners. That change is just one of many expected to unfold in the coming months.
