Annie, the 1982 movie, filmed on location in New York City. One of the locations used was Radio City Music Hall where the film also premiered.
She begins it by running from her school on East 11th Street towards 1st Avenue. Next there are some close up shots, after which, Annie is now seen running passed number 501 on West 133 Street, before another cut which teleports her to the East Village at East 11th and Avenue A, almost back to where she started.
