Most of the film was shot at the abandoned Inglis Barracks in Mill Hill, north London. Apart from Circus interiors, the squash court, the ‘Istanbul’ nightclub and even the extremely convincing Wimpy burger bar were built here.
Some exterior shots were filmed in Kensington Gore, and interior scenes were filmed in Queen Alexandra's House [16] and the physics department of Imperial College London, all in South Kensington. The production filmed in Budapest for five days. Exterior shots included at Fisherman's Bastion.
