Steep Hill is a street in the historic city of Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England. At the top of the hill is the entrance to Lincoln Cathedral and at the bottom is Well Lane. The Hill consists of independent shops, tea rooms and public houses.
Steep Hill is the main route up to Lincoln Cathedral and Castle. The surface is mainly cobbled with flag stone pavements either side, it is steep. En-route the hill is lined with lovely independent shops and cafes and is well worth the effort to walk up.
