Yokosuka (横須賀市, Yokosuka-shi) is a city in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. As of February 2024, the city has a population of 373,797, and a population density of 3,708 inhabitants per square kilometre (9,600/sq mi). [1] The total area is 100.7 km 2 (38.9 sq mi).
Located across the bay from Tokyo and Yokohama, Yokosuka has been an important coastal community for centuries and now hosts a large naval base for both the Japanese and American fleets.

- Sarushima. Sarushima is a private island and can be accessed by ferry from Mikasa park. It takes 10 minutes to get there. Sarushima is the only uninhabited island in Tokyo Bay.
