The WMA is situated in Onondaga County about 18 miles north of Syracuse between Baldwinsville and Phoenix. Three Rivers WMA is relatively flat and poorly drained. Visitors should not expect to find rugged terrain or rock climbing potential. Users will find fields, woods, ponds, and marshes.

The Richard K. Yancey Wildlife Management Area, formerly the Red River/Three Rivers Wildlife Management Area, is a 70,872-acre (28,681 ha) [1] tract of protected area in lower Concordia Parish, Louisiana. The area is owned by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACOE).
Sep 7, 2021 · Three Rivers WMA, owned by Weyerhaeuser Company, covers about 450,000 acres in McCurtain and Pushmataha counties, while Honobia Creek WMA, owned by Hancock Natural Resource Group, is located mainly in Pushmataha County, with a portion falling in southwestern Leflore County near Honobia.
The majority of the 250,000-acre Three Rivers WMA covers the northwest portion of Beavers Bend, north of Highway 3/7 and west of Highway 259. It includes part of the Ouachita National Forest and a stretch of privately owned timberlands, and includes the Upper Mountain Fork, Glover and Eagle Fork rivers.
