Apr 28, 2023 · Location. Playa de Canyamel is on Mallorca’s northeastern coast, approximately 10 km from the nearby towns of Artá and Capdepera. Mountains and forests surround the beach, and the Torrente Canyamel river joins the sea on the beach’s left side.
The beatiful beach in Canyamel is situated inside a bay surrounded by mountains and pine forest. Canyamel beach has fine golden sand and clear, turquoise water. Canyamel is halfway between the holiday destinations of Cala Ratjada and Cala Millor in northeastern Mallorca.
Playa de Canyamel is situated on the northeastern coast of Mallorca, about 10 km from the villages of Artá and Capdepera. The beach of Canyamel is located in the small holiday resort of the same name.
Average beach overall with a very laid back family friendly vibe. Our visit marked a day when it was fairly windy (winds ~15-20 mph), so the water was fairly rough. The beach is in between the cliff town of Canyamel. There's a nice little beach front restaurant where you can enjoy a meal and drinks.
