Mount Albert Grammar School is a state, co-educational secondary school situated in central suburban Auckland. Our current roll of about 3400 students come mainly from within the school’s zone, with a small number from wider Auckland accepted through the ballot process.

Mt Albert Grammar School (MAGS) is a large, co-educational school catering for students from Year 9 to Year 13. It is situated in the suburb of Mt Albert, Auckland city. Founded in 1922, the school values its traditional heritage while offering a breadth of 21 st century educational opportunities.
A Government-certified English Language High School preparation course is available, to allow students to improve their English before moving to mainstream classes. The School has fine permanent buildings including the classical, original 1922 building, now strengthened and refurbished.
