Mount Albert Grammar School is a state, co-educational secondary school situated in central suburban Auckland. Our current roll of about 3400 students come mainly from within the school’s zone, with a small number from wider Auckland accepted through the ballot process.

A Government-certified English Language High School preparation course is available, to allow students to improve their English before moving to mainstream classes. The School has fine permanent buildings including the classical, original 1922 building, now strengthened and refurbished.
