   The beach at Dawlish Warren stretches from the Exe estuary round the corner and into the English Channel towards Dawlish. I visited in March and all the attractions were shut but I can imagine in high season it is a hive of activity.

   Is Dawlish Warren dog friendly?

   • Dawlish Warren is a lovely little beach area, there’s a nice walk down to the beach where’s there’s a funfair for small children, go kart track, a couple of shops, food outlets, bar and an amusements. No dogs are allowed on the beach at this spot but ok to walk along the promenade area. Parking was £3.50 for a couple of hours.

   Does Dawlish Warren Beach have a car park?

   • Read our transparency report to learn more. We visited Dawlish Warren beach twice whilst staying in Torquay area. Inner car park can get very busy early in the morning but there is an outer car park with access over railway line by a footbridge. £5.50 all day parking.

   Dawlish warren beach is one of my favourites to visit in the area - it's flat making it an easy walk round in the summer months with plenty of views to take in. There is also the boathouse restaurant, quite a large amusement section and an area with rides for kids (and big kids, like me).
