The first DC film of 2023, Shazam! Fury of the Gods sees Zachary Levi return as the superpowered man-child he "was born to play," as IGN wrote in its positive review of the original film. This time around, Shazam and co. will be pitted against a promising new adversary in the Daughters of Atlas, "a vengeful trio of ancient gods" played by the great Helen Mirren, Lucy Liu, and Rachel Zegler.
