  1. Sep 10, 2024 · Re: Question about finding and purchasing Cognac in Paris. There are several brands available at Monoprix. At Monoproix, Remy Martin VSOP, 70 cl, costs 41,10 €. At home, the price is $40.99 for 750 ml. But, our liquor store carries St. Remy XO Napoleon (produit de France), 750 ml for $13.99 and I like that just fine.

  2. 1. Re: A question about cognac. Which one and where to buy? 13 years ago. A bottle of cognac would be too big for carry-on because of the restrictions on liquids, and carrying one in checked baggage would be contrary to any airline's conditions of travel, which prohibit carriage of flammable liquids.

  3. Answer 1 of 7: I am traveling to Paris in the beginning of October. I am a huge Cognac fan and thought that Cognac would be relatively cheap in Paris, since it is manufactured in Cognac, France.

  4. Answer 1 of 12: I know that there are many great alcohol stores and even wine shops that carry very wide selections of cognac, calvados, etc. But are there any stores that specialize and ONLY sell cognac, brandy, calvados, armagnac, etc.?

  6. I’ve never been to Paris but I can give you my 2 cents for what it’s worth. If you stick to well known brands Like Remy Martin, Martell and Hennessy you should be okay sticking to the V.S.O.P’s which avg around $50-$80. One of my new favorites is Pierre Ferrand Ambre and it goes for about the same depends on which store I buy from here.
