An online extension service for asylum seeker visas and refugee statuses was launched on 15 April 2021. Qualifying asylum seekers and refugees must renew their expired visas and statuses online by 30 June 2021, using the designated email addresses provided for each refugee reception office.
The process for online extension of asylum seeker and refugee visas is only available for visa holders that had a valid visa during the lockdown. All person whose visas expired before the lockdown will not be able to extend their visas through the online platform.
