It has now been announced that What If? season 2 will air its episodes in a brand-new schedule format for Disney Plus, with the first episode airing from 22nd December 2023and episodes then starting to air daily. This means that all nine episodes will be available to stream by 30th December 2023.

Season 2 will be released at 6:00 p.m. PT/9:00 p.m. ET, utilizing the same release schedule as Loki Season 2 and Star Wars' Ahsoka show. Also included in the release were plot summaries for Episode 1 and Episode 3.
