PS4/Xbox One emulation will be WAY easier than the PS3 and maybe even most other platforms due to the architecture resembling a PC. But the hardware needed to run it is still probably a few years away, as it requires so much more power than the platform itself was made on.
Sep 17, 2021 · DH, the founder of RPCS3 (PS3 Emulator), has shared an update on a PS4 Emulator, he’s been working on, named RPCS4. Very little detail is available on the work in progress, but the RPCS3 team has shared the information through reddit today, with a short video showcasing graphics rendering.
