Based on Masashi Kishimoto's manga series, [1] the season follows Naruto Uzumaki succeeding the Chūnin Exams only to discover the invasion of the Leaf Village. The second season aired from November 12, 2003 to September 29, 2004 on TV Tokyo.
Titled Long-Awaited Reunion (遥かなる再会, Harukanaru Saikai), [2] the season follows Naruto Uzumaki and his friends attempting to reason with Sasuke Uchiha. The second season aired from November 2007 to April 2008 on TV Tokyo .
SUMMARY. Almost two and a half years have passed since the intense battle at the Final Valley. Returning to the village after his training with Jiraiya, Naruto is reunited with Sakura, who has become a noteworthy medical ninja, Kakashi, and the rest of his friends who have also grown stronger during his absence.

Oct 7, 2003 · Naruto, Tsunade, and Shizune finally return to Konoha so Tsunade can take over and become Hokage. Konohamaru finds out that Tsunade is the Fifth but refuses to believe it. Naruto then takes Tsunade to the hospital so she can heal Sasuke, Kakashi, and Lee.
