Pasupuleti Venkata Bangarraju, known professionally as Krishna Vamsi, is an Indian film director, producer and choreographer known for his work in Telugu cinema. [2][3] Vamsi started his career as an assistant director to Ram Gopal Varma. He made his directorial debut with the 1995 crime film Gulabi, starring J. D. Chakravarthi.
The year 2002 marked Krishna Vamsi debut in Bollywood; his maiden Hindi-language film was Shakti: The Power, which was the remake of his Telugu film Anthapuram. After the remake did not garner as much critical acclaim as the original movie, the director later that year directed yet another Telugu film Khadgam.
