However when I try to read it, I get an error that the firmware versions are not compatible. I figured using the newest possible CPS would guarantee a good read.
May 28, 2019 · If you have radios on this firmware, you either need to upgrade or continue using CPS version 16.0 (or older). The first generation radios will still be supported - I have tested that myself and can read my DP3601 using CPS2.

If you go to the Remtronix website there is a zip file you can download with CPS, Firmware and a pdf file with instructions. Be aware that the CP is not compatible between version 1.01 and 1.10. Better to do the following: - Make sure the radio has the latest CP you loaded on it with CPS 1.01. - Install CPS 1.10.
CPS 2.0 Lite is to program the analog-only version of the CP100d. The analog-only version of the CP100d can be upgraded to a Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) + analog radio through a software upgrade.
