Ringwood has several attractions, a pre revolutionary war manor (complete with a historic cemetery), a nice walk along a carriage road, a nice walk in the woods, two longer hikes (both excellent) and all sorts of excellent picnic areas, including many along the river.

   When is Ringwood Manor open?

   • Ringwood Manor is open only to guided tours. You could take a tour Wednesday through Sunday between May and November. The manor is open on Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, and Labor Day. It observes all other holidays. The tour starts every hour between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on the opening days.

   I've been visiting Ringwood Manor for many years and have enjoyed each one. With each visit, I discover something new and interesting. This is a great place to wander, picnic, or just relax on their expansive lawn or garden. The manor is beautifully decorated on Christmas and tours are given. Tours are also given on certain weekends.
