Walk by the colourful beach huts. Have a relaxing afternoon on the beach. Go paddle boarding or surfing at Glide Surf School.
Weavers' Way Walking Trail. Weavers' Way is a long distance footpath running for 61 miles between Cromer and Great Yarmouth. It is named after the once important weaving industry, which flourished in the Middle Ages around North Walsham.
- Go Crabbing. One of the most popular things to do in Cromer is to go crabbing. You will see people trying their luck from the pier. All the supplies you need can be purchased at the gift shop on the pier.
- Spot the Goats. From spring to fall, there are some Bagot goats living on the cliffs just west of the town. Whenever I am in Cromer, I try to spot them.
- Enjoy the Beach. Cromer’s large beach is an essential part of any visit to the town. With its Blue Flag status, the beach is clean, safe for swimming, and is overseen by RNLI lifeguards during the summer months.
- Admire the Beach Huts. I have to admit I have a bit of an obsession with beach huts. The cute names make me smile, and they are perfect for photographing.
Spending time on the beach at Cromer is a must. Have a go at crabbing, building sandcastles on the family friendly sands or try surfing and paddle boarding. The Norfolk coast path passes through the area offering fantastic scenic walks. With a great choice of hotels, guest houses and B&Bs, Cromer is ideal for a beachside holiday, all year round.
