    Dec 28, 2020 · The original (default) strings that come with the GS Mini, I think, are Elixirs Nanoweb PB 13-56. I'm still not quite used to the 13's although my string action is quite low. It does sound louder than 12's but I feel that the sustain that comes from 12's is better than the 13's. It is also less comfortable for the fingertips.

    Apr 1, 2021 · My GS is the mahogany body model and I like GHS Bright Bronze in .13's, which I do think work better on the GS Mini than a lighter gauge string.
