After months of expectations, shocking cancelations, and all in all, a lot of uncertainty, James Gunn has finally revealed his and Peter Safran's plans for the DCU. In a Twitter video on 31 January 2023, Gunn announced that the first stage of this rebooted cinematic universe will be called Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters.
