Monty Lyman is a doctor and the author of two popular science books, published with Transworld (Penguin Random House). The first, The Remarkable Life of the Skin was a Radio 4 'Book of the Week' and a Sunday Times 'Book of the Year'. The second, The Painful Truth, publishes in July 2021.
Lyman has appeared on TV (BBC Breakfast, BBC Morning Live), radio (including BBC Inside Science and BBC World Service), [13] and on podcasts (such as BBC science focus), [14] and has been a keynote speaker at national and international conferences. [15]
