Central also had, starting in 1969, a student-run radio station, KIOS-FM (91.5 MHz), which operated during the 1969–1973 school years. In 1973 the radio station was moved to Benson High School, and later to the old Tech High location, where it is still in operation.
OC Broadcasting. The Omaha Central Broadcasting Team broadcasts basketball, football, soccer, volleyball and for the first time streamed a swim meet in 2022. The team is comprised of teachers, alumni and current students. Students learn to set-up all broadcasting equipment, commentate and tear down all equipment.
