- Anthony Stewart Head. Let's start with Anthony Stewart Head, who played Buffy's watcher Giles. The actor has been on many TV shows since his days researching in the library with the Scooby Gang.
- Eliza Dushku. Eliza Dushku made quite the impression when she played Faith, a slayer who appeared in twenty episodes of the show. The actress married Peter Palandjian in 2018 and has been pretty busy acting since she left Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
- James Marsters. The man who played Spike, another love interest of Buffy's, has been steadily working since his time as the popular vampire was up. (Fun fact: he was only pretending to speak with a British accent.)
- Nicholas Brendon. Buffy's sidekick (who had a huge thing for her at the beginning of the series, too) has been busy since the show ended in 2003. Nicholas Brendon was definitely memorable as Xander, but he played another huge part in 2010: the Private Practice character who broke into Charlotte's office.

- ARMIN SHIMERMAN (PRINCIPAL SNYDER) After the unfortunate death of Principal Flutie, Season Two of Buffy saw the introduction of Armin Shimerman as the twisted and petty Principal Snyder.
- DANNY STRONG (JONATHAN) Jonathan Levinson was a classic case of a background character rising to prominence thanks to positive fan reaction. He started life as a quiet, often endangered nerd, but Strong’s portrayal saw the character take on more depth and nuance as the series progressed, being the subject of multiple episodes, and plotting with his friends Warren and Andrew to take over Sunnydale, becoming the main villains for most of Season 6.
- ELIZA DUSHKU (FAITH) Thanks to Buffy’s brief death at the hands of the Master, it became possible for two slayers to be roaming the dark alleyways of Sunnydale, despite the “There can be Only One” prophecy.
- AMBER BENSON (TARA) As the cripplingly shy Tara Maclay, Benson quickly became a recurring character as the girlfriend of Willow and fellow practising witch.
