I had the impression the school has improved a lot in recent years and results look almost as good as APS. But I also really liked APS and we now might have the opportunity to move into that catchment.

   • Sixth-form students are mature role models who support the reading of younger pupils. Since the start of the new term in September, leaders have been working hard to reinstate the offer of enrichment clubs and trips. Pupils in Year 8 have used a trip along the London Parkland Walk as the basis for creative writing in English.

   Apr 9, 2021 · Anecdotally, I 've heard that whereas APS will ask students to leave in 6th form if they are not hitting the required grades, HGW apparently doesn't do that and is more inclusive from that point of view. I'm stressing that is just local gossip, and you might want to make further investigations.

   Mar 22, 2019 · The children I know who are there or have left sixth form recently have done really well. A y9 I know is predicted 8s and 9s at GCSE. I think a good kid who wants to engage can really thrive there.
