Plot. The film follows Jane White (Kim Little), a teenager who is obsessed with television, and dreams of becoming a TV celebrity. Jane is also convinced that she is the daughter of a prominent talk-show host, and aspires to appear on that show in the hope of launching her career as a television actress.
Jane White (October 30, 1922 – July 24, 2011) was an American actress and singer best known for her Broadway and off-Broadway stage performances. She won Obie Awards in 1966 for her performance in a Shakespeare in the Park productions of Love's Labour's Lost and Coriolanus [1] and in 1971 for sustained achievement. [2]
