- Main Timeline - Magmortar Version
- Main Timeline - Canonical Version
The timeline is a basic rundown of when various events in the Crash Bandicoot series have occured, although more specifically Magmortar75's version of the timeline. The timeline is composed of seven main games.
This is the timeline frequently referred to on this Wiki
•Crash Bandicoot - The beginning of the main series. Many characters in the series were established into their current forms before or during the events of this game.
•Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back - Takes place one year after the first title.
•Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped - Shattered Crystalis mentions that this game takes place one year after Cortex Strikes Back. There hasn't been a lot of evidence when it comes to how long Warped takes place after Cortex Strikes Back in the canonical series, but much of the events that lead into Warped's story imply the gap isn't long.
•Crash Team Racing - Takes place sometime during the first year between Warped and The Wrath of Cortex. While not nodded to a lot, most of the other games as well as Shattered Crystalis do point to CTR being a mainline game, namely a trophy appearing in Crash's house and a few other nods to the story.
•Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex - Takes place two years after Warped. Many things in Shattered Crystalis and other games in the series have pointed to CTR having happened before this game, but the amount of time hasn't been specified yet.
The canoncial timeline is identical to Magmortar's timeline, with the main differences being:
•The amount of time between Warped and Wrath of Cortex isn't specific, nor is the time between Cortex Strikes Back and Warped.
•Crash of the Titans takes place an unspecified amount of time after Twinsanity.
•Crash: Mind Over Mutant takes place a year after Titans.
The Crash Bandicoot Timeline Explained. Crash Bandicoot is a series with such a crazy history of different developers that make it challenging to pinpoint a consistent timeline.

During his adventures, Crash vows to stop Cortex or any other evil threat while maintaining peace around the island, with the help of his friends.
The story follows Crash as he aims to foil Cortex's plans for world domination and rescue his girlfriend Tawna, a female bandicoot also created by Cortex.
