For 1991, the Mark VII line is consolidated mechanically, as the Bill Blass Edition adopts the suspension and wheels of the LSC; the Bill Blass Edition is largely differentiated by its use of a digital dashboard. Both versions are given redesigned seats (distinguished by lower headrests). For 1992, the Mark VII saw no major changes from 1991.

May 11, 2023 · The last trappings of the Designer Series specialness that dated back to 1976 were all but gone in 1988, as the Bill Blass Mark VII was served a one-two punch: Not only was a unique paint color and interior theme absent but the colors it did have were all shared with the LSC. The Bill Blass was available in eight different colors.
Sep 17, 2011 · Now then, there were two main editions of the Mark VII from 1986 to 1992: The LSC (Luxury Sports Coupe) and the Bill Blass Designer Edition. The Bill Blass was your grandpa’s Mark. Even as the LSC switched to the H.O. motor, the BB soldiered on with the “lopo” (150hp) for a few more years until 1988.
