  4. It'd be like if the hacking scene in the Social Network happened off screen and we just see the aftermath. Not as effective. And yeah, there's no real plot or central tension to the movie. It's not Mank vs himself, Mank vs Welles, or Mank vs Hearst, it's a bit of each of them but not enough to be compelling or draw the viewers attention.
