   What was Studio 4 used for?

   • In down-time, studio 4 was also used for ‘down the line’ political interviews for ITN and by other regional ITV companies without studios in London. By the 1990s ITV announcers were only heard, not seen. The studio itself remained for a while and was used for out-of-vision announcements.
