The National Quincentennial Committee (NQC) is the clearing house of all government efforts commemorating the 500th anniversary (quincentenary) of the Victory at Mactan, the Philippine part in the first circumnavigation of the world, other related events in 1521. It was created by the Office of the President of the Philippines on 8 May 2018 by virtue of Executive Order No. 55.
