    Spring

Springis the 1st season of the year for temperate biomes. In Spring, the grass and foliage transitions to a blue-ish green color, and biome temperatures start warming up from Winter towards the end of the season. Winter snows start to melt, and precipitation is also more frequent in Spring. The icon for spring is a pink flower.

    Summer

Summeris the 2nd season of the year for temperate biomes. In Summer, the grass and foliage mellows out to a yellow-ish green tint. Temperatures are the highest at this time and percipitation steadily decreases after the transition from Spring. Thunderstorms are also more common in summer. The icon for summer is a yellow sun.

    Autumn

Autumnis the 3rd season of the year for temperate biomes. In Autumn, the grass transitions to a yellow-ish color, while foliage gets a yellow-ish and later an orange-ish tint, which is most vibrant at its peak. Biome temperatures start to fall towards the end of the season leading to Winter. The icon for autumn is an orange maple leaf.

    Wet Season

The Wet Seasonis a tropical season affecting tropical biomes (Jungles, Deserts, etc.). It is split up into 3 sub-seasons: Early Wet Season, Mid Wet Season, and Late Wet Season. The Wet Season starts at the beginning of Winter, and ends at the beginning of Summer. In the Wet Season, the grass and foliage turns to a lush, green color. In the Mid Wet Season, it can rain in tropical biomes that normally don't receive any.

    Dry Season

The Dry Seasonis a tropical season affecting tropical biomes (Jungles, Deserts, etc.). It is split up into 3 sub-seasons: Early Dry Season, Mid Dry Season, and Late Dry Season. The Dry Season starts at the beginning of Summer, and ends at the beginning of Winter. In the Dry Season, the grass and foliage turns to a yellow-ish color. In the Mid Dry Season, it won't rain in tropical biomes that normally receive it.

    Calendar

The Calendar can be crafted to check the progression of the seasons. It is represented by dots: 1 dot is Early, 2 dots is Mid, and 3 dots is Late. If you are in any tropical biome, the progression of tropical seasons will be seen instead. It is craftable by 8 paper around 1 clock.

    Season Sensor

There is also a Season Sensor, which can be right-clicked to switch between the 4 main seasons and gives off a redstone signal if the season it's set to is currently present in the world. The strength of the signal correlates to how far it is into the season. At the start of a season, it will have a strength of 1, and increase up to a strength of 15 by the end.

  2. The image on the calendar changes based on the season I'm pretty sure. If I had to guess. Water = Spring. Flower = Summer. Those are the two I have seen so far but the other two are probably; Leaf = Fall. Snow = Winter. Reply. Mysterious-Unit1310.
