Start out by looking at the top-left. Here you will see the "Overworld" grind. Keep pressing it until you can craft enough planks. You will need to make 4 planks for a crafting table. (1 wood= 4 planks in total if you craft the tools from left-to-right.
Look at your "Grind" area at the top-left. Here you will see "Mine". You will get stone here. To craft all stone tools + furnace you will need 19 stone in total.
After you craft stone tools, you will be able to mine iron ore. Mining is also faster. By now you should have some coal, it is going to come in handy. Once you have 3 iron ore, make 3 iron ingots. Making A Villager
Craft the 8 dirt into 8 soil. Use the "overworld" grind to get water with the bucket. Craft a plot and use the seeds to make a wheat field. Use the 4 planks to make a door, use the 45 stone to make 5 walls, and finally make the villager. Types of villagers can be found here.
By now, you should have some gold ore. If not, mine some. You will need 11 gold ingots in total for all golden tools.
