  1. Jun 3, 2021 · Technically by the book it has to be a language that beasts speak. So giant owl would be a valid choice. There are several "beast languages" out in the 5E world. As a DM I let a ranger choose an appropriate language if one, or a decent one, isn't available.

  3. There are a few creatures that speak their own, unique languages. Worg's and giant eagles are two I can think of (beast and monstrosity, respectively). Constructs, undead, monstrosities, and beasts I wouldn't say are particularly tied to any languages. It's a real mixed bag.

I think that Druidic and thieves’ cant are the only ones in the basic rules, but your DM may have others in his world. Unless your DM says otherwise, thieves’ cant is the secrete language of thieves.
