General Information. Navigation etc. D.8a is an arrangement of this work for string quartet. Deutsch gives 1970 for year of first publication, but the work was first published in 1948. Dedicated to Ferdinand Schubert: see digital copy of manuscript @ Juilliard (via WorldCat.) Seems to have been intended for publication ca. 1811.
