  1. Barrows equipment refers to a number of sets of combat equipment found in the Barrows minigame. There are six sets of Barrows equipment: four for warriors, one for rangers, and one for mages. Each set has four pieces: a two-handed weapon (except for Ahrim's Staff, which after an update was changed to be a one-handed weapon like other staves in an effort to buff the weapon), a helmet, a torso ...

Barrows equipment degrades as it is used. Equipment received from Barrows is fully repaired and can be used for 100,000 charges of combat until it degrades completely and requires repair before it can be used again; it does not suffer in performance as it degrades from fully repaired to fully degraded. The remaining charges of Barrows equipment can...

The armour and weapon of each set, apart from Akrisae's set, have the same stat bonuses. Nonetheless although Ahrim's and Karil's sets, for example, have the same bonuses, Ahrim's set, being magic, is weak to ranged weaponry while Karil's set is weak to melee. Also there are a few exceptions to this rule. The damage from Ahrim's staff depends on th...

    Ahrim the Blighted

Blighted Aura:Successful magic attacks have a chance of lowering the enemy's Strength by five levels repeatedly. Contrary to popular belief, it does NOT lower your Strength by 10%. Ahrim the Blighted's set requires 70 Defence to wear the armour and 70 Magic is required to wield the weapon. Ahrim's staffis rarely used as the set effect is generally not seen as a fair trade-off when other more powerful staves are available.

    Dharok the Wretched

Wretched Strength: Maximum melee hit increases according to the amount of life points the wielder has left. The damage increase maxes out at 1 life point, at which point testing suggests maximum hit is increased by roughly 33%. This effect does not stack with abilities and does not have a 100% activation rate. Dharok the Wretched's set requires 70 Defence to wear the armour and 70 Attack and Strength to wield the weapon. Like all the sets of Barrows melee armour, Dharok's armour provides very...

    Guthan the Infested

Infestation:Successful attacks have a chance of healing the wielder an amount of life points equal to the damage dealt. A hit for 2000 damage may heal 2000 life points. Also, a player on the Ancient Curses may heal with Deflected damage. Therefore, if a player hits a 2000, and their deflect hits a 500, and if both hits get the set effect, the player will be healed for 2500 life points. However, this is fairly uncommon. Guthan the Infested's set requires 70 Defence to wear the armour set and 7...

    Farming Requests

This table shows up to 5 upcoming dates(wrong?) within the next 500 days on which Torag's helm[fr 1] is available as a reward for completing Farming requests.

A new look was released at RuneFest 2011 showing an upgrade to the original 6 sets of armour. On 4 January 2012 the Barrows minigamewas updated and the graves as well as the brothers and the equipment received a graphical update.

The price to repair Barrows equipment was drastically increased with the introduction of the Evolution of Combat.
Prior to the Evolution of Combat, each armour set had different defence bonuses.
    Barrows equipment had a unique degrade mechanic of degrading in intervals of 25 (100, 75, 50, 25, 0) until 1 September 2015.
The requirement to complete Kindred Spiritswasn't immediately applied to Linza's set when it was released. So, if you purchased the armour from the GE and equipped it before the change, you'll need...
  3. Barrows equipment refers to a number of sets of combat equipment earned from the Barrows minigame. There are six sets of Barrows equipment: four for warriors, one for rangers, and one for mages. 4. Should I even bother switching to any barrows equipment? Verac’s skirt. Veracs skirt is good for general use. Torso and obsidian platelegs are best before bandos for the strength bonus. Like the others have said, Verac's skirt is a great upgrade. The reason is because of the good defense bonus AND the prayer bonus.

  5. Glory/fury, dhide boots, dragon defender, duelling ring, ava's and that's it. You just want to be relatively tanky. Use prayer on the dangerous brothers, - karil and dharok, primarily. Tank the other melee brothers. I'd use 0 supplies on most runs with this setup. Maybe a few food, on verac, or a dharok tunnel.

  7. The above-ground portion of Barrows consists of six burial mounds inside a stone fence. Digging with a spade on top of these mounds will land the player inside a crypt belonging to one of the brothers. Ahrim's mound is located in the centre. Dharok's mound is located north-east. Guthan's mound is located south-east.
