The Grand Rapids Amateur Astronomical Association (or "GRAAA") is an astronomy group located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was formed in 1955 by an enthusiastic group of individuals led by businessman James C. Veen, with a love of astronomy and science.
The GRAAA opens the James C. Veen Observatory to the public on select Saturdays of the month (April through October), if the skies are clear. Please call the Starwatch number (616-897-7065) for updates and the status of a particular night if the weather conditions are questionable.
