Tower of Evil, also known by the titles Horror on Snape Island and Beyond the Fog, is a 1972 British horror film [1] directed by Jim O'Connolly. Plot.
The boat lands on a rocky island (Snape) and two older seaman go on shore. Soon they find a severed hand with a large spider on it. After they see the male body it was attached too, they decide to go into the lighthouse to investigate. Sure enough, they find a female body with a severed head. They split up and find another murdered body.

Set on a barren rocky island shrouded in fog, Tower of Evil is a mix of sex and mayhem. Rather than focus on the story of what happened to a family who lived on the island, this movie is more about the swinging people who go there, sex, and trying to find out who killed the previous horny couples from Denver who visited the island.

This is a film that was re-released several times under a variety of different titles throughout the 1970s and 80s. Initially released in its native Britain as TOWER OF EVIL, it played on a double bill with the 1972 Hammer programmer DEMONS OF THE MIND, and in the U.S. was paired with TALES OF THE BIZARRE (1970).
