Stuyvesant (/ ˈstaɪvəsənt / STY-və-sənt) [2] is a town in Columbia County, New York, United States. The population was 1,931 at the 2020 census, [3] down from 2,027 at the 2010 census. [4] The town is in the northwest corner of Columbia County. U.S. Route 9 crosses the southeastern corner of the town.
