St. Chad’s is one of the oldest and smallest colleges in Durham. Situated within a stone’s throw from Durham Cathedral – a World Heritage Site – St. Chad’s occupies a row of Georgian town houses along the North Bailey.

St Chad's College is a recognised (independent) college of Durham University in England, founded in 1904 as an Anglican hall for the training of Church of England clergy. The main part of the college is located on the Bailey, occupying nine historic buildings at the east end of Durham Cathedral.
St Chad's is the third oldest college in heart of medieval Durham. Adjacent to cathedral and castle. Designated as World Heritage Site.
St Chad's College is one of the two recognised colleges of Durham University. Founded in 1904 as St Chad’s Hall for the training of Church of England clergy, the college ceased theological training in 1971 and now accommodates students studying the full range of Durham University courses.
