   HISTORY AND ACHIEVEMENTS. The club was formed in February 1989 as the brainchild of its former president Tom McNab. Tom had been employed by St.Albans District Council to run athletics courses on its new synthetic track at Westminster Lodge.

   Our club’s main emphasis is on our younger athletes who compete in the Eastern Young Athletes League (EYAL) and the Hertfordshire under 13’s trophy. We combine with our sister club St. Albans Striders, in the Southern Athletics League (for athletes age 17 and over), and the Vets’ League during the summer.
